How to Create Collections on TikTok
After you save a couple of videos to your favorites, you can create collections out of them. To create one, follow these steps:
- Open the TikTok app.
- Click on your profile in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Click on the favorites tab.
- Tap “Create new collection.”
- Give your collection a name.
- Select some videos you want to be added and click “Add videos.”
Another way to add videos to your favorites is to click on the video, and click the favorites button on the right-hand side of the screen. A tab on the bottom will appear, so click “Manage” and select the collection you want to add the video into.
How to Organize TikTok Collections
By using the above steps you can begin organizing your collections. Go through your liked videos and find some that you want to add to a collection.
If you have a bunch that has to do with the outdoors, then make a collection called “Outdoors” and add all of those videos. Again, all you have to do to add videos to the collection is just click on the video, then click on the favorites button. Press “Manage” then select the collection you want to add the video into.
Repeat this process as many times as you want to until you have your videos organized how you want them.
Keep in mind that only you can see, edit, and add videos into collections, so no worries there.
How to Edit TikTok Collections
If you want to edit your collection, just follow these steps:
- Open the TikTok app.
- Click on your profile in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Tap the favorites tab, then press “collections.”
- Find the collection you want to edit and click on it.
- Click on the three dots in the top right-hand corner.
- Press “Change collection name” to rename your collection or “Delete collection” to get rid of the collection.
- If you want to edit the videos that are in that collection, then press “Manage videos” under the collection name at the top on the left-hand side.
- Once you select your videos, you can then move them to a different collection or remove them from the collection.
Why Don’t I have TikTok Collections?
For a long time, only certain users had access to the TikTok collections feature. If you’re one of those users that still don’t have access to it, then try updating your app if you haven’t already.
If even after you update your app and you still don’t have access to collections, then chances are it isn’t available in your area. You’ll just have to wait until TikTok decides to grace your area’s presence with this awesome feature.
