There are other theories that surround the order of Story viewers, too. Some believe that those who appear at the top of your list are those who stalk or lurk on your profile the most. In some cases, this might be true, but only you can be the judge of that to know who would be stalking your profile the most.
Another theory is that those that appear all the way on the bottom of your views might be those who are viewing your Story but do not follow you. This would only make sense if you’re public, of course.

How to Block Users from Seeing your Instagram Story
If you don’t want someone to be able to see your Instagram Story, then follow these steps:

- Click on the blue “+” near your profile icon.
- Click the settings gear icon in the top right-hand corner.
- Click “Story.”
- Tap “Hide story from.”
- Search for and check off all of the users who you don’t want seeing your Story anymore.
- Click “Done.”
